Zusatzinformationen
In choosing Martin Roth, ifa has issued a clear signal of renewal as it celebrates its hundredth anniversary. It has succeeded in getting Martin Roth, one of the best-known and most successful German cultural managers, both at home and abroad, back to Germany.
More than almost anyone else, Martin Roth embodies the desire to link culture and education, civil-society and cultural engagement with national and international influence. Through both his outstanding cultural work and his character, he typifies the link between home and abroad. I congratulate ifa and Martin Roth on this choice.
